Operators open doors at the Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct

The Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct has marked another major milestone with the sale of the 30th and final available block on the 11-hectare site. As doors open to multiple businesses in the expanded industrial area.

New operators have taken residence on Enterprise Drive, including Bulldog Trimming, Scenic Rim Pilot Services, Megstin Self Storage and Hinterland Toyota.

The Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct expansion project, which began offering new lots in February 2023, was developed with an injection of $5 million in funding from the Queensland Government, enabling the further development of the industrial area on Council-owned land.

The expanded precinct has created opportunities for local businesses to retain and expand their capabilities and encourage the establishment of new businesses, all of which will strengthen the local economy and generate job growth.

The precinct’s newly constructed roads, Don Franklin Court and Ric Enright Court, honour the contribution to the community of two members of the Beaudesert Development Board who, in the 1970s, served alongside Doug Sullivan and Dick Barram for whom two of the industrial estate’s cul-de-sacs were named.

Helga van Tonder of Megstin Self Storage and Transport, commented that their operation found the Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct to be the perfect location, having opened their new facility in mid-2025. “Beaudesert is experiencing steady residential and business growth, and the precinct provides the right environment for us to meet the increasing demand for secure, and flexible storage solutions. Beaudesert is a great central location to service the whole of the Scenic Rim,” said Helga van Tonder.

Tony Stark, Director of Hinterland Toyota, commented that the location was very suitable for their new predelivery centre on Enterprise Drive, which will start operating this week. Employing ten staff members, the purpose-built facility offers advantages of a large site, allowing the design and build of a larger workshop area, and a geographical location adjacent to their local dealership.
"The site offered a lot of positives, a new and open commercial area, fencing, security and access for large trucks. Most advantageously, the precinct is in a growth area.  It will continue to grow out there [Beaudesert], especially with the push of the Gold Coast" said Tony Stark.

The Beaudesert business community can expect to see plenty of action at the Beaudesert Enterprise Precinct in the coming months as vacant blocks are developed and become the new home for additional operators.
